For the end of the year 2020, he is offering 3 Christmas logs from his Pure collection: Pure Honey, Pure Chocolate, made with the best chocolates from Alain Ducasse’s Manufacture, and Pure Coconut. Yann Couvreur, Polar Escape
Yann Couvreur, the talented pastry chef who has given back its letters of nobility to the mille-feuilles (vanilla from Madagascar), signs for Christmas 2020 a log named “Isatis”. What could be more evocative in winter than the polar fox? The delicious animal with a mischievous look is enthroned on a layer of frothy snow with vanilla and pecan flavours that shelters a tasty crispy praline biscuit.

Christophe Michalak, culture pop

Mori Yoshida, Japanese cakes
It is a stone’s throw from the Invalides that Mori Yoshida opened his pastry shop. Yann Menguy, sugary drop
Yann Menguy is making pastry making in the heart of the 18th arrondissement of Paris more accessible, by mixing the traditions of a big French house and the New York coffee shop spirit. How about a giant éclair for a change! Christophe Adam and his team from L’Eclair de Génie have concocted a very special limited edition éclair for the festive season. Decorated in Christmas colours, the Berlingot XXL éclair, filled with a pistachio/white chocolate ganache and a pistachio centre, will make your mouth water. Pierre Hermé is one of the greatest pastry chefs in France and known worldwide for his macarons with countless subtle flavours. Discover the boxes of sweet treats and macarons at his shop on Rue Bonaparte, in the heart of Saint-Germain des Prés.

Stohrer
At the authentic Rue Montorgueil street market, call in at the oldest patisserie in Paris. Louis XV’s pastry chef, Stohrer, gave his name to this place, which for many years was the workshop where the desserts of the royal court were made. Surrounded by gilding, sparkling chandeliers and murals by Paul Baudry, also responsible for the décor of the Opéra Garnier, ask for the incredible Rum Baba, invented here.
