Description

This culture hub for the Hauts-de-Seine département is a hive of activity with indoor and outdoor spaces.

La Seine Musicale further reinforces the cultural and touristic charms of the Hauts-de-Seine. From the Paris-La Défense business district and its contemporary art trail, to the French-style gardens in Sceaux, the département’s rich heritage now shines that little bit brighter.

News

From 21 September 2025 to 17 January 2026, a new sound and visual creation is on display at SeineLab. Plant Being is an audiovisual installation generated by a plant. The plant's activity is transformed into a poetic and sensory work of art, revealing a whole invisible world.

As part of Némo - the International Digital Arts Biennial of Ile-de-France, Phygital Studio takes over the space and connects you with the environment, nature, and plants. With free admission, come and enjoy a unique experience and discover a desirable future in which technology serves the environment!

Outstanding architecture

It is to the architects Jean de Gastines and Shigeru Ban that we owe the design of this new cultural venue. Together, they have pulled off a major architectural feat. Shaped like an ocean liner, with its curves hugging the contours of the Île Seguin, La Seine Musicale plays with the reflections in the water.

With a 1150-seater auditorium dedicated to classical music, a 4,000-capacity hall for musicals, live shows and other big concerts, a richly planted 7,200 m² garden, cultural stores, restaurants and cafés, it has everything you could wish for!
